Louisville, Ky. (July 6, 2008)—The final five national criterium champions were crowned on the last day of competition at the 2008 USA Cycling Master Road National Championships on Sunday in Louisville, Ky.
After finishing third in the road race competition, Chad Burdzilauskas (Indianapolis, Ind./Texas Roadhouse) out rode his 36 competitors in the baby masters 30-34 age division to take home his first national title.
In the 35-39 contest, Kevin Attkisson (Louisville, Ky./Texas Roadhouse) outsprinted his 10-man late-race break to earn the Stars-and-Stripes jersey in front of his hometown crowd.
After seven days of racing and the crowning of 69 national champions in Louisville, Ky., the 2008 USA Cycling Master Road National Championships wrapped up on Sunday afternoon.
